Kentucky Scraps

I love the look of heat embossing, but sometimes I forget to do it! So I took the time to stamp and emboss the sentiment in the lower right hand corner. I randomly cut strips a paper in different patterns from the Echo Park 6 x 6 paper pad, Happy Together. (Here I go again with the 6x6 pads LOL) I intended for the strips to mimic the rays of a sunshine, but it did not turn out that way at all. Oh well I still thought it looks cute and fun.  Does that ever happen to you? You have the intentions of things turning out a certain way and then halfway into the project it takes on its own life?
